Green Roof Gurus Panel on “Getting Green Roofs Right”

This Thursday, March 6th, Scott will join a panel of experts in green roof development, design, construction and policy to understand how to share their thoughts on how to green roofs right in Toronto. The “Green Roof Gurus Panel” will explore the challenges and opportunities presented by Toronto’s Green Roof Bylaw and provide insight on how to enhance the social, economic, and environmental benefits of green roof technology in the city.

For the panel, Scott will be joined by Joe D’Abramo, a Toronto city planner with extensive experience in urban environmental policy and Rick Buist, a green roof designer and horticulturist.

This free event is part of the University of Toronto’s John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design’s Winter 2014 Building, Ecology, Science and Technology ┬áLecture Series.
